This is a problem with your printer. To fix it, you will need to complete a reset process. The reset should last about 10 minutes. If this does not work, a technician must come and repair the printer Hi everyone! There is a printer that I have that is incredibly frustrating because it just won't print anything! Here are the steps that I have completed to fix its problem so far: -Unplugging and re-plugging the power cord -Disconnecting all of the cords from the printer and putting them back one at a time -Opening up my computer tray so as not to close my computer while doing these steps -Turning off Windows updates for both Windows 8. 1 and Windows 7 -Unplugging the printer for about 10 minutes before ever doing these steps -Turning off WiFi on my laptop before both steps 5 and 6; this is because I think the WiFi settings are causing the problem -While all of these were being done, I made sure to turn off System Restore for both Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 Now that I have completed all of these, my printer still will not print anything, but it's definitely working better now than it was. If this helps anyone else, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks! Hey there! First time posting here so hopefully you can help! My HP Officejet Pro 8620 has now become unusable. Every time I try to print something, the scanning light just blinks on then off then on again. A few times, it was able to scan but nothing printed. I've only used the printer maybe 3 times prior to this problem occurring. I'm no techie, so please don't ridicule me (although you can if you want). Here's my situation: the scanner works fine (turns green when scanning) and the printout is clear enough that my wife can read it (she sees it on her bluetooth-enabled laptop). None of my other cords or devices (printers, phones, Bluetooth devices) are causing this problem. The printer works (see above). I've tried: reloading the driver (and several others listed on this sight), uninstalling and reinstalling the software, unplugging and re-plugging the printer into my computer, other things that I'm forgetting. The toolbox scan button is not lit up. What could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! I hope I posted in the right section... Hello everyone!
